Art Teacher
GENERAL INFORMATION
We are looking for members for the Pennsylvania American International School in Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to RT Holdings:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan lessons on art and art history in accordance with students’ learning objectives
- Prepare the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment
- Develop students’ drawing, coloring, and painting techniques
- Provide instructions on the use of media such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint
- Assign and grade projects and examinations
- Record and report on students’ progress
- Monitor inventory and source art supplies, as needed
- Educate students on following a school’s moral codes and behaviors
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss a student’s progress
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc
- Other related duties assigned by the Board of Principals
WORKING HOUR:
40 hours per week (7:30 – 16:30) from Monday to Friday.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in fine arts with teaching qualification, or equivalent
- Prior experience as an art teacher
- Working efficiently with initiatives and creativities
- High level of IT competence
- Great interpersonal skills with stakeholders, such as students, parents and school staff
- Get knowledge of successful teaching and learning theory, as well as the practice of meeting the specific needs of all students through classroom organization, differentiation, and learning methodologies
- Demonstrated excellence in a variety of art techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to supervise group work
- Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills
