Letter from the Board of Principals

Dear Parents and Students,

A new spring has arrived all over the country, the moment of transition between the old year and the new year is coming very close. Best wishes for the new year 2022 to all parents and students of WASS.

The school year 2021 – 2022 is a very special school year with many difficulties and challenges but brings a lot of proud memories and achievements to our Western Australian community. The epidemic has been gradually controlled and together we have entered a journey to conquer new knowledge and create new values together.

After a long time of separation, PennSchool is pleased to welcome the 9th graders officially back to school. They are very self-disciplined to follow the prevention rules to ensure safety when going to school during the epidemic season. In addition, for students who cannot return to school, PennSchool still equips teaching equipment and continues to deploy online programs to ensure their knowledge. We believe that, with our continuous efforts to ensure a safe learning environment in the near future, PennSchool will welcome all students back to school.

With the goal of bringing modern, dynamic and interesting learning experiences, contributing to the comprehensive development of students, PennSchool also had useful activities in December. The school cooperated with ISA Study Abroad Counseling Center organizes the Virtual College Fair 2021 event to help students and families have the opportunity to learn about educational programs, study opportunities, learn about careers for post-secondary orientation at top universities. In particular, elementary school students participated in the Robotacon YouTube Challenge 2021. This is an opportunity for them to become “young engineers”, with a lot of creative and unique ideas that stick to the theme ” The robot helps the farmer”.

With the desire to bring a more fulfilling season of love to everyone, Pennschool launched the “Light up the hearts” project with the desire to connect the community and bring more warmth to the disadvantaged children effects by the pandemic. Students made their own crafts through DIY Class; participate in the Charity Fair; Join the Music Festival…

Besides, activities such as “Furry schoolmates picture corner” – taking pictures with pets, drawing red packets – welcoming the new year… also helped our students to unleash their strengths, talents and comprehensive development.

On the occasion of the New Year of 2022, the PennSchool Board of Principals would like to sincerely thank all parents, students, teachers and school staff who have contributed to a cohesive, friendly and developed community. Wishing all students and parents a successful and happy new year. PennSchool will always try to constantly improve to be the second home of generations of students, giving wings to the glorious dreams of the young Vietnamese generation.

Best regards,

Board of Principals of Pennschool
