Goals & Objectives
Mid-Autumn Festival events are the opportunity for students to find out the traditional culture, have a great time together and help to balance their mental health.
Participants
Over 1.000 students participate in.
Agenda
Based on different grades, students will participate in many activities. Including:
- Make mask, draw pictures and prepare party made by clay
- Make moon cake
- Join in lion dance and party
- Watch Chu Cuoi and Chi Hang fairy film
- Participate in Traditional folk games, like making To he, playing Bit mat bat de, Rong ran len may
- Playing with Chi Hang and Chu Cuoi, performances, presentation contests about lantern and five-fruit tray

Event Sumary
After 2 years of hiatus due to the pandemic, PennSchool students have a chance to participate in the Mid-Autumn festival.
With the theme “DANCING IN THE MOON”, all activities in this day gave #HomeOfTheEagles to have a chance to travel on the moon, to meet Moon Lady and Uncle Cuoi as well as discover traditional activities.
With elementary school, students participated in many experiments such as making mooncakes to give to parents, taking part in the traditional folk games, and doing the lanterns. One of the performances which attracted many students was the lion dance. They also joined in the Mid-Autumn festival party, found out the meaning of this day with the Moon Lady and Uncle Cuoi.
The secondary students have an opportunity to explore this event through the contest and performances. In the morning, students played traditional folk games and made mooncakes. Then, #HomeOfTheEagles showed their talents through the performances and presentation contests about their handmade lantern and fruit tray. There were many awards given for the winning teams.
The Mid-Autumn is more meaningful when #HomeOfTheEagles had together played with teachers and friends and wore traditional costumes. Through these activities, PennSchool would like to give students an opportunity to find out and understand about the traditional culture.
Mid-Autumn festival is a chance for students to not only understand the traditional culture of Vietnam, but also give more beautiful memories in the student’s life. Let’s look back at some amazing pictures from this day!
