Officially Unveiling the House Captains for the Academic Year 2024 – 2025

After 3 rounds of applications and voting, PennSchool has found outstanding individuals who will take on the roles of House Captain and House Vice Captain for the academic year 2024 – 2025.

The new House Captains for the academic year 2024 – 2025 are all exceptional students who demonstrated their full capabilities and leadership skills across 3 selection rounds. “When I found out that I had been chosen as Terra House Captain of Elementary School, I was overwhelmed with happiness. It was more than just excitement—it was a profound sense of gratitude, knowing that all the late nights, all the rehearsals, and every effort I put in had led me to this. I felt ready to lead them, to stand by them, and to make our house stronger, kinder, and more united.” –Vo Hoang Bich Vy shared her feelings on the Election Round results. Bich Vy also expressed her determination to live up to the trust and votes she received from her peers: “I will lead with heart, fairness, and empathy, working hard every day to create a school environment where everyone feels valued. Together, I know we can achieve great things.”

Similarly, Huynh Nguyen Gia Khang, the Aqua House Captain of Secondary School, felt both happy and surprised upon learning that he would take on this important role in the academic year 2024 – 2025. Gia Khang worked hard to create an impressive application video and spent time building strong relationships with his friends in Aqua House. Through these efforts, he earned their trust by not only proving his abilities through outstanding academic achievements but also showing his sincerity. Reflecting on his determination, Gia Khang stated, “I promise to never let down those who believed in me. I am committed to making Aqua House and our school a better place, one that is fair, filled with empathy, and where everyone feels they belong. Together, I know we can make a difference.”

After missing the opportunity to apply for the House Captain last year and not wanting to regret it again, Nguyen Kha My was determined to run for the position and was appointed as Ventus House Captain of Secondary School for the academic year 2024 – 2025. “I couldn’t sleep, constantly thinking about how to make my video creative enough to leave an impression on the viewers. I jotted down bold, unique ideas and crafted scenes to match the content. I then carefully filmed and edited my video to stand out,” Kha My shared about her journey in making her campaign video. In her video, she not only presented persuasive reasons for viewers to vote for her but also encouraged #HomeOfTheEagles to actively participate in school activities and events to earn points for their House.

One of the most enthusiastic students in school activities and events, as well as a “warrior” from the PENN MÌ Ý Team who brought the first trophy back to Vietnam at the VEX Robotics Championship 2024 Final Round, Nguyen Tuan Anh continues to embrace opportunities to grow himself and his leadership skills as Terra House Captain of High School. “With a strong belief in Terra House’s growth and my own, I’m motivated to challenge myself further, especially in the role of a leader. This ambition not only drives me to work hard and learn but also pushes me to set higher goals for myself and the team. Becoming Terra House Captain is not just an honor but a big responsibility, and I’m ready to face this challenge. My experiences in competitions, sports events, and House System activities have helped me mature and understand the value of effort and leadership spirit. I believe that with determination and passion, I can lead Terra House to new heights and bring success to the team,” Tuan Anh shared.

Each House Leader embodies a spirit of dedication and a desire to contribute to the collective’s development. The School believes that under the guidance of these outstanding House Captains, #HomeOfTheEagles will continue to strengthen, fully engage in challenges, and bring glory to their House.
