Continuing our mission of sharing love and spreading happiness to children in remote and mountainous areas, the PennSchool community will once again accompany the Community Fund “Light Up The Future” to implement the main project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams” during the academic year 2025 – 2026.
This journey includes five sub-projects focusing on improving classrooms, accommodations, and transportation infrastructure for students in the Northwest highlands. Parents can find more information about the projects here.
Among them, the “Muong Nhe Dormitory” project will build a boarding facility equipped with bedrooms, classrooms, a canteen, and supporting infrastructure for 50 – 60 H’Mong ethnic high school students in Muong Nhe Village, Muong Nhe Commune, Muong Nhe District, Dien Bien Province.
The “Huoi Thung Kindergarten” project aims to construct a combined classroom, providing a learning and play space for 30 – 35 preschool children in Huoi Thung 1 Village, Nacosa Commune, Nam Po District, Dien Bien Province.
In addition, the “Nacosa 1 Road” project will construct a road connecting Nacosa 1 Village to the main road, enabling more than 400 residents and students in Nacosa Commune to travel more safely and conveniently – especially during the rainy and flood seasons.
Two other projects, “Chieng An Primary & Secondary School” (Nong Hoi Duoi Village, Chieng An Commune) and “Hua Trai Primary & Secondary School” (O Village, Hua Trai Commune), will provide 50 bunk beds with integrated study desks, helping to improve the living conditions of boarding students at these school sites in Muong La District, Son La Province.
Each project represents a “brick” contributing to building a solid foundation that offers better learning and living conditions for ethnic minority students in the Northwest region. Through these meaningful initiatives, the #HomeOfTheEagles not only nurtures compassion and solidarity but also fosters a sense of community responsibility – step by step, shaping themselves into compassionate, knowledgeable, and outstanding global citizens.
