Field Trips in the 2022-2023 school year gave a lot of memories for every #HomeOfTheEagles, especially elementary students.
This was the first time when they were away from home and experiencing 2 days 1 night with friends has brought many interesting memories to each student.
The exciting journey started right on the coach to Mango Garden resort, when students participated in a singing contest, organized by the tour guide.
“In the car, after having breakfast and settling down, we had a singing contest and the final result is equal between my class 5B and class 4B.”
Nguyen Hoang Nam Phuong – Class VAP 5B
For 2nd grade students, being away from their parents seems to be not easy. But by having teachers and friends, they also had happy trips. With Le Gia Huy – Class IAP 2A, the experience that he remembers the most is to explore the zoo.
“First we took a picture at the biggate. Then, we went to the zoo. At the zoo, there were a lot of animals we saw, like fish, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, hyena. First fact was elephants, elephants need mud to cool off, the second was fish, fish have gills to breathe underwater.”
The highlight of the trip is the “Solar energy” project. #HomeOfTheEagles worked together as teams to find out about clean energy and polluting energy. In particular, each group together applied solar energy to light up the letters that created the school’s name – PennSchool. The “classrooms without walls” with the useful knowledge and the opportunity to work as a team is one of the interesting experiences of the trip.
“In the afternoon, we arrived at the new place to study. The car took us to a vast yard, where we were immersed in the birds singing and the cool breeze. Here, my friends and I learned about Matter and Energy, I am very happy because I have successfully installed an electric to light up a solar-powered bulb. From that lesson, I got more knowledge about clean energy that we could apply to life.”
Nguyen Bao Tram Anh – Class VAP 4A
After excited feeling through an experience day, the joyful moments in the Gala Dinner and the campfire night also gave impressions with each #HomeOfTheEagles.
“In the evening, I also participated in the Gala Dinner with my friends and had a nice campfire. My friend – Gia Kien in my class won the second prize in the Fashion Show competition”.
Do Nhat Yen – Class VAP 3B
