The second Thanksgiving season is coming at PennSchool with many interesting activities which give students a lot of emotions.
In many American countries, Thanksgiving day is an opportunity for citizens to thank for a bountiful season and thank God for a full and peaceful life. Through activities on this occasion, students have a chance to find out its meaning. Besides, this is also a sign that the Christmas season is coming.
One of the friendly characters on Thanksgiving day is a lovely turkey. Students have participated in many activities relating to this character, such as drawing a turkey by feather, making a turkey hat or feeding the turkey… Besides understanding the meaning of the day, activities give students a chance to challenge themselves and give scores for their House.
Finally, activities on Thanksgiving day also give students an opportunity to see how gratitude is important. It also reminds us to be thankful for what we are having. This is also an occasion for students to show their gratitude to family, teachers and friends who always love, accompany and encourage them.
