Vietnam – UK Cultural Confluence: A Festive Gathering

Goals & Objectives

Continuing the Career Orientation Week, the Board of Principals of PennSchool has collaborated with Indochina Study Abroad (ISA) to organize the cultural confluence between PennSchool students and Abbeygate Sixth Form College students from the UK. 

Besides experiences in the class, students of PennSchool and Abbeygate Sixth Form College will participate in the series of activities of the House System in April through the “Vietnam – UK Cultural Confluence: A Festive Gathering”.

– All students in grades 6 – 12, for both Bilingual and International programs

Monday, 03/04/2023: 

• 08:00 – 08:30: Welcome all the Teachers and Students of Abbeygate Sixth Form College, UK
• 08:30 – 09:00: Opening Ceremony
• 09:00 – 09:30: School Tour at 4 Nguyen Thong Campus
• 10:00 – 11:20: Class Participation
• 13:00 – 15:00: Sports Festival at Ho Xuan Huong Sport Club: For students of ADP classes and Abbeygate Sixth Form College, providing opportunities for them to interact, learn skills, and share their sports’ passion.

Tuesday, 04/04/2023: 

• 08:20 – 11:20: Class Participation
• 13:00 – 15:00: Mini-Concert & Food Fair: A chance for PennSchool students to introduce traditional Vietnamese culture to foreign students and immerse themselves in music performances, traditional food, and folk art competitions where they can challenge themselves.
