Welcome to the new campus of WASS – 3/2 Campus

The Western Australian School System happily welcomes another new campus, located at No.10 Street 3/2, Ward 12, District 10 – Campus 3/2. The new campus’ spacious and safe environment is ready for students from the American Program and American Diploma Pathway.

This is the sixth campus of the Western Australian School System. The new campus has spacious and specialized function classrooms designed for the high demand of international curriculum. This is especially important for the specialist subjects such as Music, Arts, Robotic and Technology. They all must meet the learning requirements and comprehensive development of the international curriculums.

The Vietnamese- American Bilingual Program (VAP) includes the core academic and specialist subjects offered in a conceptual-based curriculum model. Therefore, it provides opportunities for students to explore concepts and essential understandings through asking compelling questions and making connections between subjects.

In addition to the subjects of Vietnam Curriculum, the elementary and middle school student students receive instruction in the core academic subjects of the English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies which have been adopted from the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), American Education Reaches Out (AERO), and Pennsylvania State Standards. Specialist Subjects include Physical Education, Music, Visual Art and Technology which are designed to nurture aesthetic competencies so students may experience the joy of movement and fitness.

The new school will establish a solid foundation for internationally minded students, especially the American Diploma Program (ADP). Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education whose standards are aligned with the USA, Common Core State Standards.The program is designed for students in grades nine to twelve.

Vietnamese – American Bilingual Program and American Diploma Program at WASS will create the optimal study path and increase competitive advantages for studying abroad.
