On December 18, PennSchool students had the chance to take part in the largest virtual online educational fair, which has the participation of nearly 60 colleges and universities in Vietnam and other countries.
The Virtual College Fair is based on Easy Virtual Fair – an intelligent virtual platform, which will help students interact directly with nearly 60 school representatives and find out scholarship opportunities. Representatives from many famous universities and colleges of different countries introduced the schools, programs, enrollment conditions, tuition fees and living expenses in different countries, which helps students to prepare for their study abroad plans. In particular, there are many scholarships to be also informed through this seminar.
Through the seminar, the students also had the opportunity to know special programs that help them to shorten the study path, the conditions to get a working visa, and living conditions after graduation. This is a great opportunity for them to experience the global working environment and promote their professional competence in international corporations, where opportunities are encouraged.
Finding a suitable major is also a huge problem that students need to be concerned about. Holland’s career orientation test will help students to understand themselves and find suitable jobs in the future.
In particular, the conversation with school representatives is an opportunity for students to understand majors of schools and their career opportunities after graduation: Computer Science, Pharmacy and Medicine (Medicine), Design (Design), Difference between Commerce and Business (Commerce vs Business)…
At the webinar, besides the opportunity to interact with schools, students were also advised on the steps to prepare for a study abroad application, how to write a personal statement as well as a portfolio for specific majors. With the guidance of the Indochina Study Abroad, students’ questions in the application process have become easier and more effective.
With a day of experience, PennSchool students have gained useful information as a foundation for them to prepare for their future plans.
