#HomeOfTheEagles has made remarkable marks in each competition, from Penn Project Runway to the Debate Elite Tournament 2025 and VioEdu, where knowledge, creativity, and personal identity shine.

Debate Elite Tournament 2025: Emotional Debates

In mid-April, the Final Round of the Debate Elite Tournament 2025 concluded with a series of intense and emotionally charged matches. The tournament’s most outstanding debaters came together to deliver compelling debates, tackling a variety of thought-provoking questions and relatable topics, such as:

• Should students be allowed to evaluate teachers? 
• Is teamwork more important than individual work? – Is spending on luxury goods truly necessary? 
• Should people prioritize needs over wants when making purchases? 

Each topic provided the contestants with a platform to demonstrate their maturity, critical thinking, active listening, and respectful argumentation skills.

Throughout 9 rounds of heated debates, the stage exploded with sharp reasoning, powerful rebuttals, and heartfelt exchanges. More than just a competition, the tournament was a journey for each #HomeOfTheEagles to step out of their comfort zones and learn to listen, understand, embrace differences, and grow with every word spoken. Witnessing the students’ remarkable progress, a Parent representative shared, “Through this tournament, the children have gained invaluable soft skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and, most importantly, the ability to listen to and respect their opponents’ perspectives. They learned that not everything they think is necessarily right, and that there are other ideas that might be more appropriate. They are learning to listen and grow from these experiences.”

Debate Elite Tournament 2025 continues to be a highly anticipated annual event, embraced by many #HomeOfTheEagles as an opportunity to sharpen their abilities and prepare for their future journeys of intellectual conquest.

Penn Project Runway (Season 1): Confident Steps on the Catwalk Stage

With the theme “Runway Revival: A Recycled Journey,” Penn Project Runway (Season 1) offered a creative playground for fashion-loving #HomeOfTheEagles who aspire to spread meaningful messages about environmental protection through their self-designed outfits.

On April 26, 2025, the Final Round unfolded with a host of memorable moments, as 15 groups and individuals lit up the stage, each showcasing a distinctive style. Every outfit carried a unique story, crafted from seemingly discarded materials that, under the contestants’ creative hands, were transformed into glamorous evening gowns and edgy streetwear, aligning perfectly with the given theme.

The young designers not only captivated the audience with their confident runway presence but also impressed the judges and spectators with their articulate presentations, delivering the powerful messages behind their designs with poise on the grand stage.

Adding a special highlight to the event, guest judges — young fashion designers Mr. Phan Gia Vy and Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thien Huong — graced the event with their presence. After witnessing the outstanding designs and impressive performances, they offered heartfelt encouragement and fair, constructive feedback, helping contestants further refine their creative thinking, idea presentation skills, and stage charisma. Beyond the competition, the event also served as an inspiration for the students to pursue their passions and confidently express their individuality through fashion. The Final Walk, where all contestants took to the stage one last time, left an unforgettable impression, earning thunderous applause and praise from both parents and students.

VioEdu City-Level Round: Outstanding Achievements Unlocked

Surpassing hundreds of talented contestants across Ho Chi Minh City, 6 #HomeOfTheEagles proudly secured remarkable achievements at the City-Level Round of the VioEdu competition – a challenging and stimulating intellectual playground for young Math and English enthusiasts nationwide.
