The Return of Brave #HomeOfTheEagles

The lively beat of the school drum echoes, ringing in the hearts of every #HomeOfTheEagles a melody full of hope for a bright new academic year, where the spirit of reaching high and the desire to break through will pave the way to success.

Returning to school after a long break, teachers and #HomeOfTheEagles shared stories of their summer journeys and exchanged warm greetings, contributing to the bustling atmosphere of the first day of the new academic year at PennSchool. For the Grade 1 #HomeOfTheEagles, the new learning environment may have felt a little overwhelming at first. However, thanks to the companionship and enthusiastic guidance of teachers, the students quickly adjusted and made many new friends through engaging bonding activities on the first day of school. In addition, through these interesting activities, #HomeOfTheEagles practiced thinking and reflexes, strengthened friendships, and built the confidence and bravery of the “Eagle Leaders.” 

As the new academic year begins, #HomeOfTheEagles are encouraged to set clear learning goals and recognize their strengths to guide their journey ahead. Their promises, aspirations, and dreams for the year have been written on vibrant feathers and placed onto the backdrop, forming the wings of an eagle – symbolizing their ambition to soar higher and their readiness to embrace challenges. By recognizing their strengths and sharing stories of inspiring role models, the students gain greater confidence to nurture their dreams and strengthen their spirit of perseverance. This meaningful activity marks the start of an exciting and energetic learning journey for the #HomeOfTheEagles.

With the theme “Eagle Ambition – 5 Years of Love & Leadership”, the academic year 2025 – 2026 opens a new journey, marking the 5-year milestone of the founding and development of PennSchool. “At PennSchool, we believe education is more than lessons in the classroom. It’s about nurturing curiosity, developing integrity, and building a strong sense of community. Together – families, teachers, and students – we create an environment where every child can thrive and discover their potential”, said Mr. Timothy Nelson, Principal of the American Program and Academic Director, encouraging the #HomeOfTheEagles at the Orientation Week ceremony.
