Tet Is Just Around the Corner at PennSchool

As Tet approaches and spring returns, communities across the country are bustling with excitement in preparation for the new year and the PennSchool family is no exception. Tet is drawing ever closer, present in every corner of our campuses through the enthusiasm, creativity, and strong sense of connection shared by the entire PennSchool community.

This year, the PennSchool community comes together to board a special journey titled “The Next Stop: Prosperity”, setting off to welcome the new spring filled with hope and positive beginnings. The Spring Station is ready to greet our #HomeOfTheEagles, offering a vibrant space for check-ins and memorable moments with teachers and friends. Designed in rich Tet colors, the setting features blooming apricot blossoms, lucky red envelopes, festive calligraphy, and symbols of prosperity – promising a new year filled with good fortune, peace, and optimism.

A highlight of this spring season is the collective creativity of our #HomeOfTheEagles. Across the campus windows, students have personally decorated lively Tet-themed artworks featuring traditional spring feasts, green bánh chưng, red watermelons, and joyfully anthropomorphized horses. Each piece not only beautifies the school environment but also reflects students’ appreciation for and understanding of Vietnam’s cherished cultural traditions.

Taking place in the days leading up to Tet, the PennSchool Spring Festival promises a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities for students. From lion dances and Tet fashion shows to traditional bingo, magic performances, quizzes, and grade-level competitions, students will have the opportunity to explore and experience the beauty of traditional Tet culture. In addition, experiential booths will offer hands-on activities that allow students to both learn and fully immerse themselves in the joyful spirit of spring.

On this spring journey, each #HomeOfTheEagles will design their own Tet train ticket to share personal goals and hopes for the new year. More than a festive message, these aspirations serve as motivation for students to look toward the future with confidence, positivity, and a proactive mindset.
