The Talent Squad round has been organized and brough many impressions to the BOD because many “mysterious factors” are now revealed.
️️With nearly 200 students registered to participate in all grades, it is not easy to choose suitable candidates to become the Talent Squad’s members. And even though there are not much time to take the performances, #HomeOfTheEagles are still very confident to complete these.
“This competition is a chance for students to show their talents through fields such as technology, football, dancing and singing. All fields are very interesting but I still choose my passion which is football. My goal when joining Talent Squad is to do my best to become a member of Talent Squad. We have to pass through many rounds to select potential talents. I really hope that I can pass all rounds so that I can join the school football team.”
Ngo Minh Phuc – VAP5B
Not only participating in a field, Pham Quoc An of IAP4 has registered in 3 fields of the Talent squad.
“…Like in football, I wanted to join because it’s my best talent. In piano, I wanted to look and learn from others since I’m not pretty good at it and in technoholics I wanted to see where I’m at and improve my skill and my goal is to join at least one talent. I felt really happy when I was done taking the test to join and I really hope I’ll make it to the squad”.
“On that day I was going to do my performance with Theresa and I sang “A million dreams” and my second talent squad was Art. I was with Julia and I drew the nature and I felt nervous and I wish I won.”.
Le Gia Huy – Class IAP 2A
For Truong Nam Phong, class VAP10A, participating in the Talent Squad has brought many useful experiences for him.
“I was very lucky and happy to have the opportunity to participate in this event.
Registering to participate in Talent Squad is my aspiration and determination. I decided to join it because I will have a chance to join the team’s activities, build confidence, create and nurture talents. I will have more interesting friends and useful experiences, and have solid knowledge to perform my dream.
My goal is to do my best to pass the preliminary round and become a member of the Talent squad. However, the final result is not too important to me, because lessons, experiences and memories that I gained are more important.
About my competition, I decided to sign up for the Wild Eagles Soccer Team (WEST) to become a soccer team’s member. I chose this team because football is my hobby, I will have the opportunity to exercise physically, stay healthy and have more friends. At first, I was a bit nervous because I had to perform in front of teachers, but the teachers encouraged and gave me useful advice. That made me confident and tried my best to complete the contest. I’m very proud of what I did. Regardless of the result, I feel very grateful for the good memories when I participate in this.”
With Doan Hoang Bao Thy – VAP8A, she decided to participate because of her family and friends’ encouragement and that was also an experience that can improve herself.
“After hearing the announcement, I felt extremely nervous. Partly because I had never participated in any competition before. Fortunately, my family was there to encourage me to register. My mom has told me “You can do it, just try your best.” I thought for a long time and agreed with her ideas.
The contest is a chance to try. Without contests, we will lose our motivation to try. On the contrary, competitions are proof of the cultivation process. Once we successfully conquer them, our “excellence” will be promoted, our learning and life outcomes will be enhanced, and our dreams will gradually become bigger. Competitions will also help us to develop the management skill, so that we can focus more on our goals.
I registered to take part in this competition because I would like to explore myself and breakthrough on my learning path.
… I have passed my limits. Like a butterfly, which gets out of the cocoon, to be able to fly in the sky. This is a memorable experience for me.”
In order to orient and train latent students in many fields like painting, music, robotics and sports, the Talented Squad is not only a playground for them to show their talents and bravery, but also help them prepare the necessary skills to face with all the challenges and opportunities in the future.
