Building on the success of the community projects in the previous academic year, PennSchool will continue its journey of spreading love through meaningful projects in the new academic year 2023 – 2024, under the project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow”.
In the academic year 2022 – 2023, the PennSchool community has achieved significant milestones in academics, training and building skills for future citizens. Also, many meaningful activities were initiated during the Spirit Days, which attracted the attention of many students. The funds raised from these events were transferred to the “Light Up the Future” to raise for “Ve nu cuoi Dien Bien” projects. The four projects implemented in the past academic year included “Knowledge for the Highland Students,” “Tech Empowerment for Highland Students,” “Next Generation Knowledge Collaboration,” and “Bridge of Love”. These projects have illuminated the dreams of children and residents in Na Co Sa commune, Dien Bien province, who still had unfulfilled aspirations.
The next journey of spreading love in the academic year 2023 – 2024 has also begun. With the project “Yen Bai, For a Brighter Tomorrow,” the PennSchool community will come together to support the H’Mong ethnic people in Son Thinh Town, Van Chan District, and Tuc Dan Commune, Tram Tau District, Yen Bai Province. The new destination of the “Light Up the Future” fundraising community hopes to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people here due to the harshness of nature and help children continue their education and pursue their unfinished dreams.
Here are the four projects that will be implemented during this academic year:
– “Strengthen the Present – Create the Future” Project at Son Thinh, Van Chan, Yen Bai Province
– “Community House” Project at Son Thinh, Van Chan, Yen Bai Province
– “Conquer the Future – Connect the Knowledge” Project at Tuc Dan, Tram Tau, Yen Bai Province
– “Way to School – Way to Dreams” Project at Tuc Dan, Tram Tau, Yen Bai Province
These projects will help students have more comfortable classrooms, cozy dormitories for them to stay in and focus on studying and a new road to school.
This journey would not be possible without the support and assistance of our esteemed Parents and students. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Parents and students for their enthusiastic contributions and support over the past years. PennSchool hopes to continue receiving your trust and collaboration for a better community and a brighter future for those facing challenges in our society this academic year.
