Spring Festival 2023

Goals & Objectives

Amongst the bustling atmosphere of the end of the year and while preparing for the approaching Lunar New Year, PennSchool organizes the Spring Festival 2023 with the theme “Year of the Cat – Tet Sum Vay”. The event aims to bring joy, warmth and a traditional Tet atmosphere, while also creating opportunities for students to learn more about Vietnamese culture.

PennSchool hopes that the Spring Festival will bring a lot of joy and positive energy for us to welcome 2023, the Year of  the Cat.

Over 1.000 students participate.

Agenda

07:30: Opening Spring Festival 2023 at Labor Culture Palace HCMC

07:30 – 11:30: Students participate in Spring Festival activities:

– Explore Vietnamese folklore through traditional Tet games;

– Work with artisans to get experiences such as making Chung cake, making rice dough figurines and writing calligraphy;

– Performances with teachers and friends.

11:30: Students go back to campuses by school bus

– Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine at the buffet party

14:00: Parents pick up students at school
