Exploding with Excitement on the House Olympics Day

On the 12th – 14th of September, the PennSchool community launched sports activities to create an engaging environment for the Houses’ members through the House Olympics Day event.
With the theme “Reignite the Eagle Spirit”, this event brought lively and enthusiastic sports for #HomeOfTheEagles to welcome the new school year
The cheerleading performance, which was part of the sports event, ignited a day full of energy and excitement. This year’s event was even more special with the appearance of the “Eagle Mascot,” representing PennSchool.
Soccer, the king of sports, has always been a favorite activity of #HomeOfTheEagles. The soccer matches of amateur players provided thrilling moments and a mix of emotions for the participants. The enthusiastic cheering from players’ fans also played a significant role in the success of the matches.
Despite not requiring professional skills like soccer, other games, such as balloon popping, bowling, and tug-of-war, were equally lively and received wholehearted participation from the Houses. All members exerted their utmost effort to earn the highest scores for their respective Houses.
House Olympics Day is not just an opportunity for students to relax but also promotes physical fitness and team spirit. PennSchool hopes that this event will serve as a “bridge” for #HomeOfTheEagles across different grade levels to interact, foster unity, and create beautiful memories within the PennSchool community. There are still many exciting and dynamic events as well as activities in this school year, promising to bring many enjoyable experiences for students ahead.
