Practical learning through the field trip of Grade 1

Learning from the natural world is one of the important factors which help students to learn new knowledge naturally. This is one of the advantages of the field trip.
The last field trip for Grade 1 is known as a “Classroom without walls”, and has given many useful memories and “the first time” experiences.
The first journey to the Mango Garden Resort gives students the opportunity to find wild animals, which students are familiar with through books or television. The “Bird show” is also an unforgettable experience when students can see how trainers guide their talented birds to follow them. In addition, students also have fun with friends at the playground with some games like the merry-go-round, bumper cars and trains.
The night camp at school is also a memorable memory for #HomeOfTheEagles when they get experience with teamwork activities. There were many princesses and princes that appeared at PennSchool that made it become a fairy-tale. In this activity, students together flashmob dance, “catwalk” in the fashion show and play trivia games.
In this field trip, #HomeOfTheEagles also had a chance to watch the film: “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish“. Puss in Boots is one of the familiar fairy tale characters. This story gave students the lesson about optimism, courage and the best thing is right here, right now.
The field trip 2 days 1 night must have brought beautiful moments for #HomeOfTheEagles and teachers. Students also shared their experiences by drawing activities. The field trip will be the first meaningful lesson that students have discovered by themselves.
