After a rigorous selection process, the official members of the House Leaders, Student Council, and Prefects at PennSchool have been revealed. They are young, energetic leaders who embody the spirit of dedication and the desire to guide their community with love and compassion.
Each academic year at PennSchool marks a new journey where students not only gain knowledge but also learn how to lead, share, and spread positive values to the community. Along this journey, the stories shared by our young student leaders serve as vivid examples of growth, passion, and heartfelt leadership.
After demonstrating her capabilities and determination through several rigorous selection rounds, Nguyen Do Tram Anh has officially assumed the position of Vice President of the Student Council for the academic year 2025 – 2026. This achievement is not only an honor but also the beginning of a new journey filled with challenges that Tram Anh is ready to embrace and overcome.
“In previous years, I had the opportunity to participate in many meaningful events organized by the Student Council. Each event left a strong impression on me – not only because of the creativity and positive energy but also due to the leadership, unity, and sense of responsibility that inspired the entire school. Those experiences planted in me the dream of becoming part of that team – a place where every student has a voice and the opportunity to spread kindness and positivity. That’s why this year, I decided to run for the Student Council.
When the election results were announced, I felt both happy and determined. Becoming the Vice President of the Student Council is not just an honor; it’s also a reminder that leadership doesn’t start with a title – it starts from the heart.
To me, leadership in a school setting is not only about managing or organizing activities, but also about guiding the spirit and spreading positive values within the student community. An ideal leader is someone who listens, understands, and inspires others with sincerity.
“Leading with love” does not mean being soft – it means using empathy and respect to awaken the potential in others. When every student feels heard and trusted, the community becomes truly strong. I hope that during this term, the PennSchool Student Council will not only serve as a bridge between teachers and students but also as the heart of the community – where every idea is heard, every difference is respected, and every student has a chance to shine. I believe the Student Council will continue to be a source of connection, creativity, and positivity, helping to build a cohesive and inspiring student community.”
In the journey of developing and spreading the spirit of leadership at PennSchool, each student holds their own unique perspective on what it means to lead and inspire others. For Nguyen Henry William, the House Vice Captain of Ventus this academic year, the opportunity to take on a leadership role is not only an honor but also a meaningful chance to express his profound views on love, responsibility, and perseverance – the true qualities of a leader.
“This academic year’s theme, Eagle Ambition – 5 Years of Love and Leadership, reminds us that leadership begins with the heart. Leading with love means showing empathy, understanding, and respect for everyone, no matter who they are. It’s about being a role model who listens, values others’ opinions, and encourages teamwork and cooperation.
A great leader also takes initiative, acts responsibly, and keeps a positive attitude even in challenging situations. Leadership is not just about giving instructions; it’s about motivating others through kindness, actions, and integrity. I believe that when we lead with compassion and determination, we create an environment where everyone feels valued and inspired to grow.
As I continue my journey at PennSchool, I hope to become a leader who inspires others not only through words but through genuine actions filled with love, respect, and dedication. Together, we can build a stronger, kinder, and more united community – one where every student can spread their wings and soar like an eagle.”
After receiving the news of being selected as a Head Boy of the Prefects, Nguyen Thien Tri shared his feelings and the team’s vision for their upcoming leadership journey.
“Being a Prefect is not only about responsibility but also about showing kindness, teamwork, and caring for others. We believe that Prefects are chosen to be role models who lead with both heart and mind. This year, we wanted to lead not by power, but by example, showing respect, hard work, and responsibility every day. We aim to inspire our students and help those in need, and create a positive environment for everyone at Pennschool. The Prefects team will try their best to support the school event and give out amazing ideas. Finally, thank you, Pennschool, for allowing us to grow as leaders and spread our kindness through our actions.”
With that spirit, the student leaders of the PennSchool community promise to bring an inspiring, connected, and creative academic year. Since then, every student has been heard, understood, and grown together in a compassionate and united community.
