Career Orientation Week is one of the prominent events in February and March, to provide students in grades 9-12 with useful advice on choosing a career and the right environment when they are on the threshold of college.
Following previous activities, in February and March, PennSchool continues to cooperate with the ISA Study Abroad Counseling Center to organize a series of career-oriented events through seminars, school visits, consult and meet with school representatives.
Career Orientation Week featured 4 events throughout with lots of useful information.
The topic “Hot majors at top universities” on February 17 will help Home of the Eagles to meet Mr. Everton Araujo – CEO of Utah Global and Ms. Liliya Ambartsumyan – CEO of Gonzaga Global and listen to the sharing of hot careers in the next 10 years, some notes when applying to study in the US and the strengths & strengths of the University of Gonzaga and the University of Utah.
The workshop “Al & CHAT GPT – The boom and benefits of educational technology in the 4.0 era” which is presented by Assoc. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Director of the Institute of Training and Applied Research at the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies and Mr. Timothy Nelson – AP Principal of PennSchool, Home of the Eagles have more information about Al & CHAT GPT – one of the outstanding technology apps in the world. The workshop updates more information on AI in the 4.0 technology era, the explosion of Chat GPT and its impact on future job opportunities.
Also in these series, on March 3rd, students will have the campus tour to RMIT University. This will be an opportunity for Home of the Eagles to find out the admission policies, financial aid and outstanding academic disciplines. Besides, they will also interact with recent students to understand their experiences and life.
The workshop with representatives and students of Abbeygate Sixth Form College in April will also be memorable experiences and the opportunity to understand more about students’ life.
Through Career orientation week, PennSchool hopes that students will understand the importance of choosing a career, some mistakes in this process, methods to choose the suitable jobs based on their values; and so on. Since then, students can use this time effectively to choose a suitable career.
