Principal’s Message
Dear PennSchool Community,
November invites us to pause and appreciate the people who shape our school every day. This month’s core value, Respect, reminds us that our community grows stronger when we honor each other’s efforts and contributions. Mother Teresa beautifully captures this spirit when she says that we can transform our world simply by choosing to “do ordinary things with extraordinary love.” That is exactly what I see throughout PennSchool.
This month, we celebrated Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, a time to recognize the extraordinary love our teachers bring to their everyday work. Whether guiding a lesson, supporting a struggling student, or encouraging a new idea, our teachers lead with care and respect at the heart of every action. Their dedication helps our students grow not just academically, but as kind and capable young leaders.
I am also proud to share an important milestone: PennSchool is now a fully Cognia-accredited school. We achieved this over the summer, but chose to announce it now, during a month centered on respect and gratitude, because this accomplishment belongs to our entire community. It reflects the long study hours of our students, the commitment of parents who attend conferences and share thoughtful feedback, and the tireless devotion of our teachers. Your partnership is what makes our school exceptional.
As we move through November, may we all remember that respect is shown through small, consistent acts of kindness like listening carefully, offering encouragement, showing appreciation, and giving our best each day. These simple actions strengthen our community and help every child feel seen, valued, and supported.
Thank you for being an essential part of PennSchool’s success. Together, we continue to build a place where respect guides our work and extraordinary love shapes our future leaders.
Warm regards,
Mr. Timothy Nelson
Principal of the American Program and Academic Director
