Conquering an impressive GPA 4.3 in her first semester at a prestigious High School in the USA, excellently becoming a state-level competition representative, and bringing home a proud sports award – these are the first results in the study-abroad journey of Nguyen Pham Thai Ha.
The brilliant success of Thai Ha – a PennSchool alumna – is a vivid testament to the model of a resilient and confident “Eagle” spreading her wings to the world from a solid launchpad nurtured under her beloved school. To build this sturdy stepping stone before embarking on her overseas journey, Thai Ha, like other #HomeOfTheEagles, grew up in an educational environment that honors individual values and community responsibility right from her days at PennSchool. Here, the young student not only absorbed knowledge through American educational methods but also thoroughly internalized the 5 core values: Inquisitiveness, Leadership, Equity, Respect, and Innovation. These values served as a compass, shaping her stature and global mindset before she entered a new chapter at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School (Pennsylvania, USA).
Thai Ha’s innovative mindset and readiness to step out of her comfort zone were proven early on when she excellently achieved the 100% “Tech Trailblazers Scholarship” for the academic year 2024 – 2025. Thanks to the carefully prepared foundation of knowledge and skills at PennSchool, she easily integrated into the highly challenging academic environment of the USA at Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School, our PennSchool alumna continued to maintain peak performance, sustaining an outstanding academic average and securing a spot in the state-level competition. In addition, the dynamic spirit of an “Eagle” was further affirmed through the Coaches Award in the school’s girl swimming in the winter sports season.
Thai Ha’s thirst for inquiry was clearly demonstrated through her journey of conquering international challenges. She asserted her relentless spirit of self-learning by becoming one of nine PennSchool students to reach the Tournament of Champions at Yale University (USA) within the framework of the World Scholar’s Cup 2022. Prior to that, the young girl’s collection of achievements was already extensive, including a Silver Award in the Final Round of Thailand International Mathematic Olympiad (2021), a Bronze Award in the Final Round of Future Intelligence Student Olympiad in Mathematics (2022), and a Bronze Award in the Global Junior Math Aptitude Test 2022 – 2023 in the Grade 7 Category.

In addition to personal milestones, Thai Ha clearly demonstrated leadership and equity through networking activities, showing a readiness to share and support community growth. Her resilience was forged through major roles, such as Vice President of the Financial Team in a machine learning bootcamp, winning First Place at the Debate Elite Tournament 2024, and serving as a speaker for the next 2025 season. Notably, she also served as a speaker for two consecutive years at the TEDxyouth@PennSchool Finals (2024 and 2025). As a member of the Prefects, she always proactively collaborated with the Board of Principal to maintain school discipline and promote new initiatives. Her excellent ability to balance the core curriculum, international academic playgrounds, and extracurricular activities serves as proof of her highly scientific time management skills.

The final piece that completes the portrait of the “Eagle” Thai Ha is her deep respect for teachers, friends, and the community values she actively pursues. She has always won the hearts of everyone thanks to her positive attitude, sociability, and compassionate heart. This spirit of community responsibility followed her into numerous meaningful social activities, such as volunteering at a university fair in HCMC and participating in charity work to support those in difficult circumstances in Lam Dong.
The journey of growth and brilliance of Nguyen Pham Thai Ha is the most vivid answer to PennSchool’s educational philosophy – a place where students are not only equipped with solid knowledge but are also trained in mindset and virtues to confidently fly high and become resilient global citizens. She stands as a representative of PennSchool alumni, spreading positive values and serving as a true pride of the entire community.
