In the academic year 2024 – 2025, PennSchool will continue to offer the AP Program for #HomeOfTheEagles in Grades 9 – 12, helping students prepare for their university education.
The Advanced Placement (AP) Program, managed and implemented by the College Board, offers students the opportunity to get acquainted, introduce, and experience university-level subjects while still in high school. The AP Program includes a wide range of subjects across various fields, allowing students to gain insights into their potential majors and future academic paths, thereby developing a clearer understanding of their academic interests and career direction.
When participating in the AP Program, Parents and students can consider one of the following three options:
- For students not taking the AP exam but registering in AP Prep Courses: Parents can register for the AP Prep Courses using the Sign Up feature in the After School Activities category.
- For students registering only for the AP Exam: Parents can register for the AP exam and pay the exam fee using the Register feature in the School Activities category.
- For students taking both the AP Exam and AP Prep Courses:
- Parents can register for the AP Prep Courses using the Sign Up feature in the After School Activities category.
- Parents can register for the AP Exam and pay the exam fee using the Register feature in the School Activities category.
