Letter from Board of Principals
April has been a month full of vibrant energy and forward-thinking spirit at PennSchool, where we’ve proudly spotlighted one of our most exciting core values: innovation. True innovation means more than just invention, it’s about exploring new ideas, taking creative risks, and transforming challenges into opportunities. As Alan Kay wisely said, “The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”
Our Eagles certainly lived up to that ideal this month! The school was buzzing with excitement as students advanced through the Final Rounds of two of our most beloved internal competitions: the Debate Elite Tournament and the Project Runway Finale. From crafting compelling arguments to transforming fashion concepts into stunning recycled reality, our students showed that creativity and critical thinking go hand in hand.
We also celebrated the joy of community and creativity during our Easter Cake Pop event. Students of all ages rolled up their sleeves and turned simple ingredients into edible works of art. Events like these are a sweet reminder that innovation comes in many forms and sometimes, “it’s delicious”!
As we look ahead, Quarter 4 exams are just around the corner. This is a great time for students to reflect on their progress and apply innovative strategies to their study habits. Whether it’s organizing study groups, using digital tools, or setting personal goals, there’s always a new way to approach learning.
We also close out April with a nice break to honor an important milestone in Vietnam: the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s liberation and reunification. This historic event reminds us of the visionary leadership and resilient spirit that have shaped the nation.
Let’s continue this final stretch of the school year with bold thinking, collaborative hearts, and a commitment to excellence. I’m proud of how far we’ve come this academic year and excited to see what’s ahead.
With admiration and encouragement,
Warm regards,
Mr. Timothy Nelson
Principal of the American Program
