The energy spreads across three academic and creative competitions

Over the past March, PennSchool has been buzzing with excitement through a series of academic and creative competitions. Each arena is not only a stage for students to showcase their talents, but also a journey of building confidence, sharpening thinking, and unleashing creativity – leading up to thrilling final rounds ahead.

Debate Elite Tournament – Where confident voices take the stage

The Debate Elite Tournament has returned and proven its “heat” right from the Qualifying Round, as teams continuously deliver sharp arguments to defend their positions and persuade the judges. In this round, teams demonstrated strong performance, flexible critical thinking, and confident stage presence. With experience gained from earlier rounds, contestants showed more thorough preparation in their arguments, strategies, and ability to respond to unexpected situations.

After intense rounds of debate, the top teams will advance to the Semi-Final Round before earning their place in the Final Round – where the most outstanding debaters will compete to crown this season’s champion.

Spelling Bee Championship – A thrilling race of words

The Spelling Bee Championship has continued to capture attention as the #HomeOfTheEagles progressed through the Class-level and Grade-level rounds. In particular, the Grade-level Round brought intense, fast-paced competition, where students raced to buzz in and answer. The lively atmosphere highlighted their focus, quick reflexes, and strong vocabulary skills.

The top contenders from all eight divisions have now emerged, ready to enter the Final Round. The upcoming finale promises an exciting showdown among the best of the best.

Penn Project Runway – Creativity takes the spotlight before the Final Round

After more than three months, Penn Project Runway (Season 2) is entering a crucial stage as the top contestants finalize their designs in preparation for the Final Round next April. To reach this stage, the #HomeOfTheEagles impressed the Judges not only with creative sketches but also with compelling presentations demonstrating how their ideas could be brought to life.

At the end of the selection round, 10 individuals and 3 teams have officially advanced to the Final. This year’s runway is expected to showcase unique designs and truly spectacular performances.

The competitions over the past month brought diverse challenges, yet all contributed to a rich and meaningful learning journey – opening up opportunities for #HomeOfTheEagles to continuously challenge themselves, discover their potential, and grow holistically. The upcoming Final Rounds promise to be the highlight, where talent, confidence, and creativity will shine at their brightest.
