Amid the festive atmosphere of welcoming the Year of the Horse, the PennSchool community enjoyed an exciting month filled with engaging competitions, providing a surge of energy to kick off a dynamic, inspiring, and enthusiastic new year.

Sports Fest Final Round – Closing the track of energy and excitement

The Sports Fest season has officially concluded, yet the excitement of the lively matches continues to resonate throughout the PennSchool community. The intense Football and Basketball Finals were not only an opportunity for teams to give their best but also a moment for families to join in as enthusiastic supporters, motivating the participants.

Sports Fest has nurtured teamwork, created lasting memories, and helped students develop holistically – both physically and mentally – while igniting school spirit and strengthening bonds within the PennSchool community.

Drone Challenge – Showcasing speed and intelligence of Secondary School students

In February, Secondary School students took on a challenge demanding both intelligence and agility in the Drone Challenge, with more than 30 teams competing in aerial races. This was not merely a drone piloting competition but a true STEAM arena, where students applied knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to master flight control, strategize, and optimize performance.

The Drone Challenge required participants not only to demonstrate precise piloting skills but also to analyze flight paths, respond flexibly to unexpected situations, and navigate complex obstacle courses. The competition offered students a chance to step out of their comfort zones, develop critical thinking, strengthen 21st-century skills, and explore their passion for technology, engineering, and applied STEM fields.

Debate Elite Tournament 2026 – The Official Launch of the Debate Arena

With the theme “Woven Wisdom: The Rhythm of the Mind,” the Debate Elite Tournament 2026 officially commenced with the Kick-off Meeting. With the participation of competing teams and distinguished guests, the event introduced the debate format through a mock debate session, allowing students to practice constructing arguments, countering opposing viewpoints, and learning collaboratively.

Through this activity, students honed their critical thinking, public speaking skills, confidence, and ability to handle pressure in dynamic debate situations. The event also played an important role in preparing the teams for the intense rounds ahead.

This month’s series of sports, creative, and debate activities truly reflected the galloping spirit of our #HomeOfTheEagles, delivering memorable experiences, fostering teamwork, promoting creativity and 21st-century skills, and uniting the PennSchool community in the joy and excitement of the New Year.
