Nutritious meals at PennSchool
Nội dung bài viết
Providing students with nutritious, safe, and balanced meals is a top priority at PennSchool.
Nutrition plays an essential role in ensuring physical health and providing energy to our students, helping them to develop fully and study effectively. Recognizing that importance, PennSchool creates menus with help from experienced nutritionists and professional chefs.
PennSchool’s food preparation process is always strictly monitored, from the cooking in the main kitchen, to the delivery of meals to each campus’s kitchen. The dishes are heated in the campus kitchens to ensure that students receive warm food that is full of nutrients. PennSchool employs moderation staff to ensure quality throughout the process, ensuring that students receive the highest quality meals.
The menu is varied, combining Asian and Western dishes so that the students have many choices, allowing each student to choose something they like. The standard main meal offers two savory dishes with protein, vegetables, rice, soup, and fruit. The menu is constantly changing to ensure a balanced diet with enough nutrients for the body, as well as to provide students with a wider variety of meals.
PennSchool organizes a health check for students at the start of the school year to classify their health status and provide appropriate nutrition plans. In addition, physical and learning activities are tailored for each age group. These, along with nutrition, are critical components of a student’s healthy development at PennSchool.
