March is a time of vibrant learning and a month where our #HomeOfTheEagles rise to the challenge in various competitions, from debate and mathematics to sports. The anticipation before each competition, the joy of overcoming challenges, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way all contribute to the personal growth of our students, shaping them into more confident and capable individuals every day.
The memorable journey to conquer the Debate Elite Tournament 2025 and Math Olympiad 2025
The #HomeOfTheEagles brought thrilling and intense debates to the Semi-Final Round of the Debate Elite Tournament 2025. Divided into Affirmative and Negative teams, students randomly selected their topics and presented sharp arguments to defend their viewpoints. These intellectual showdowns not only honed their persuasive skills but also built the confidence to shine on any debate stage. Moreover, the competition provided an excellent opportunity to develop the leadership and communication skills essential for their future endeavors.

The Final Round of the Math Olympiad 2025 was just as exciting, with students tackling a variety of mathematical challenges while racing against time. In this round, they demonstrated quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Their passion for mathematics proved that with determination and perseverance, no challenge is insurmountable. More than just a competition, this event was a journey of discovery, unveiling the wonders hidden within numbers.
Medals That Speak for Themselves at the District 10 Sports Competition
Beyond academic excellence, the #HomeOfTheEagles also showcased their resilience and competitive spirit at the District 10 Sports Competition, where strength, teamwork, and determination were on full display. The PennSchool community proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of our young athletes and chess players:
- Christina Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Le Vu An Nhien, and Trinh Thao Di – Silver Medal in the Girls’ Chess Division (Grades 1 – 3).
- Nguyen Phuong An – Bronze Medal in the 50m Butterfly Swimming Category.
At the same time, the WEST Talent Squad – Soccer Team, including Tran Đang An, Mai Sy Hoang, Phan Nguyen Đat Minh, Hau Hua Huu Vinh, Ho Vo Đuc Tri, Le Khac Đai, Nagamine Riichi, Pham Xuan Nghia, Vo Chung Chi Lac Oscar, Nguyen Quang Vinh, and Pham Thanh Thien Ky, advanced to the Quarterfinal Round of the soccer tournament. In addition, the PennSchool community also cheered on the #HomeOfTheEagles in the Athletics competition, helping them complete their performance well. The team played with unwavering dedication, displaying outstanding sportsmanship and competitive spirit.

As the academic year 2024 – 2025 continues, PennSchool believes that the #HomeOfTheEagles will continue to demonstrate their bravery in activities and competitions both inside and outside of school.
