This April, the PennSchool community welcomed many useful activities, providing opportunities for students to spread the spirit of solidarity and help those in difficult circumstances in society.
The Vietnam – UK Cultural Confluence: A Festive Gathering event, held on April 3rd and 4th, allowed high school students to show their hospitality to the international students from the UK. It was also an opportunity for students from both schools to exchange cultural experiences through the House Sport and Cultural Festival.
The “Egg-citing Adventure Camp” team-building and camping activity at the Saigon zoo also provided memorable experiences for elementary students. The “young adventurers” participated in an exciting treasure hunt, overcame challenges at each area , collected items, and decorated eggs for the Easter ceremony.
Anti-Bullying Week combined with Spirit Week provided an opportunity for them to contribute to spreading positive messages about school violence prevention and together to create a happy, cooperative and united community.
In particular, the activities in April were more meaningful as the PennSchool community together spread positive values and contributed to the Community Fundraising – Light Up The Future. Through above events, #HomeoftheEagles has “lighting up” the dreams of children and people in the highland areas. The amount of money that the students and their families donate will be used to “Ve Nu Cuoi Dien Bien” through four projects: “Knowledge for the Highland Students”, “Tech Empowerment for Highland Students”, “Next Generation Knowledge Collaboration,” and “Bridge of Love” to help fulfill the unfinished dreams of the children and people with difficult circumstances in Na Co Sa commune, Nam Po District, Dien Bien Province.
