Radiant Moments to Cherish in the Final Month of the Year

The final month of 2024 at PennSchool was filled with joy and meaning, featuring a series of outstanding events, from the sparkling Christmas Festival to Career Orientation events for students.

Christmas Festival “Holly Jolly Starlit Christmas”

The Christmas spirit lit up PennSchool with twinkling lights and vibrant activities, bringing heartwarming and memorable experiences for the #HomeOfTheEagles.

Kicking off the celebrations was the introduction of the Charity Gift Station, where #HomeOfTheEagles shared love and kindness through meaningful gifts such as cakes, milk, toys, school supplies, and so on. These thoughtful presents were donated to children at the Children’s Hospital and SOS Children’s Village in Go Vap District, spreading warmth and hope this festive season for the less fortunate children here.

Creative workshops, including making Christmas cards, tote bags, stockings, pine trees, and figurines, not only sparked imaginations but also fostered connections among students. The most impressive Christmas paintings on canvas were auctioned during the Christmas Charity Auction, where parents and students joined hands to spread love and kindness when all the proceeds were contributed to our Community Fund.

The Christmas festivities became even more exciting with Spirit Week, where #HomeOfTheEagles dressed up as adorable characters like reindeer, candy canes, Princess Elsa, and so on. Activities such as the Christmas buffet, holiday movie screenings, and artistic performances during the Holiday Concert created unforgettable memories for the PennSchool community. The Christmas Fair added to the cheer with its bustling atmosphere, offering students a chance to shop, play, and make lasting memories with friends and teachers. Notably, all proceeds from the Christmas events, 209,830,000 VND in total, were contributed to the Community Fund “Light Up the Future”, continuing PennSchool’s mission of spreading kindness through our community projects.

Workshop: “Personal Branding: Visualize Your Identity”

In addition, December was also a crucial time for senior #HomeOfTheEagles to prepare for their journey of applying to their dream universities.

They participated in the workshop “Personal Branding: Visualize Your Identity” featuring renowned speaker Professor Nguyen Viet Hieu Linh, a Fulbright Scholar (2016) with over 15 years of expertise in visual storytelling, graphic design, and digital media.

During the event, Professor Linh shared profound lessons on self-discovery, goal-setting, and personal branding. Drawing from his real-world experiences, his insights helped students identify their strengths and chart a clear path toward successful university applications. Additionally, the presence of representatives from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) provided students with valuable information about academic programs in design and creative fields – areas brimming with potential for the future – providing them with more options for shaping their career paths.

December concluded with moments full of emotion, inspiring the #HomeOfTheEagles to confidently move forward in their journey of growth and strive toward their goals.
