The PennSchool community has joyfully welcomed the first month of 2025 with vibrant academic activities and the lively Spring Festival.

Ending the Journey of Knowledge Conquest at 2 Enriching Competitions

The Golden Bell Challenge 2024 and TEDxYouth@PennSchool 2025 have officially concluded, leaving behind countless memorable moments in their Final Rounds. Accordingly, #HomeOfTheEagles participating in the Golden Bell Challenge 2024 competed with all their might, demonstrating their burning passion and extensive knowledge of Science. Meanwhile, the 14 “speakers” of the TEDxYouth@PennSchool 2025 were equally talented when they confidently shared their perspectives on the big stage on relevant topics such as self-development, water resource protection, the role of young people in nation-building, the impact of automation, and our role in creating happy schools.

The champions of this year’s Golden Bell Challenge have emerged amidst the joy and congratulations from teachers and friends. Meanwhile, #HomeOfTheEagles of TEDxYouth@PennSchool 2025 also proudly demonstrated their confidence in presenting before families, teachers, and friends.

Reflecting on Semester 1 with the Academic Exhibition during the Student-led Conference Week

The academic year 2024 – 2025, themed “Eagles Soaring to New Heights: Think Bigger, Fly Higher”, has reached its halfway point, marked by the remarkable efforts and achievements of our students. To look back on the dynamic learning journey of the #HomeOfTheEagles during Semester I, PennSchool hosted an Academic Exhibition under the theme “A Showcase of Curiosity and Growth” alongside engaging activities during the Student-led  Conference Week from January 20 – 22, 2025.

Throughout the week, the hallways came alive with academic projects across various subjects, including the 4 core subjects – Science, Mathematics, English Language Arts, and Social Studies. This gave parents a chance to admire the outcomes and knowledge their children have gained through PennSchool’s innovative teaching methods, particularly Project-Based Learning. Additionally, PennSchool organized exciting hands-on activities such as baking, flower vase decorating, and a food fair, providing the #HomeOfTheEagles with enjoyable moments to unwind before officially concluding the first semester of the academic year 2024 – 2025.

Welcoming the New Year of the Snake with the Spring Festival 

On January 24, 2025, teachers and #HomeOfTheEagles came together to celebrate the Spring Festival “Harmony of Spring” in bright and colorful outfits. Embracing the festive atmosphere of 2025’s first celebration, students decorated and shared heartfelt wishes in wish globes, participated in traditional folk games, enjoyed treats at the Tet Market, and immersed themselves in lively Tet performances.

Notably, on February 10, 2025, students will receive a surprise gift from their teachers upon returning to school after the Tet holiday.

The School hopes that in 2025, the #HomeOfTheEagles will continue to explore, grow, and strengthen their bonds through diverse activities. Wishing everyone a joyful New Year filled with success and happiness.
