Principal’s Message
Dear PennSchool community,
Welcome to the academic year 2025 – 2026! August is a month full of possibilities, a fresh start for our returning #HomeOfTheEagles and an exciting first chapter for those joining us for the very first time. As we prepare to embark on this journey together, we turn our attention to one of PennSchool’s most vital core values: Inquisitiveness.
Plutarch once wrote, “The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.” This captures our shared mission perfectly. Our role, as educators and parents, is to spark curiosity, encouraging students not just to absorb information, but to question, explore, and imagine. This inquisitive mindset will guide them through their studies, their passions, and the challenges of the future.
As we open the school doors to a new year, I want to take a moment to celebrate some of our graduating Eagles who are beginning their first year of university. The Class of 2025 inspired us with their determination and success: The Class of 2025 had a 100% graduation rate and admissions to many prestigious universities, such as Monash University, Deakin University, Georgia State University, RMIT, University of California, University of Waterloo, University of Georgia, HUFLIT, with many earning significant scholarships ranging from 20 – 100% of tuition. We are proud to see them take flight and wish them every success in the exciting years ahead.
Our commitment to preparing students for the world beyond PennSchool extends to our technology and AI integration. From Grade 1 to Grade 12, students will engage in modules that range from creativity with Scratch and AI to Python data analysis and AI-generated website design. These programs ensure our learners are not just ready for today’s challenges but are also equipped to thrive in the rapidly evolving future.
This summer, PennSchool reached a significant milestone, achieving full accreditation through Cognia, a globally recognized nonprofit that evaluates schools to ensure they meet the highest standards of learning, leadership, and continuous improvement. This accreditation affirms the quality of our programs and our dedication to excellence.
We also look forward to a calendar filled with opportunities for students to shine beyond the classroom, including PennSchool Shark Tank, Penn Model United Nations, PennSchool MasterChef, Project Runway – Season 2, and TEDxYouth@PennSchool.
As we stand at the threshold of a new year, let us all commit to kindling the fire of curiosity in our students. Together, we can make 2025 – 2026 a year filled with bold questions, fresh discoveries, and inspiring achievements.
