Useful methods for teamwork activities

Teamwork activities are widely used in classrooms at PennSchool to help students develop skills and increase connections of members. However, in order to promote the strengths of each individual, appropriate methods need to be applied.
Be on time
Punctuality is a basic but important requirement for any activity and is a habit that should be built right from the start of school. With group activities, being on time saves other team members from having to wait or waste time repeating what was discussed earlier.
Allocate work properly
This depends on the role and ability of the team leader. When the work is clearly assigned, each member of the team will be aware of their own roles and responsibilities.
Listen and respect team members
Group activities are created to help come up with the most appropriate and effective plan. Therefore listening and respecting others’ opinions is important. By listening, the students will learn more knowledge from others, supplement the skills that are lacking for themselves, and help every member understand each other better.
Stay united
To achieve a common goal, unity among team members is key. Because, each person has a strength in a particular field. And sometimes to solve the group’s problem requires a lot of knowledge in many areas, levels and requires different skills and needs the synthesis of team members.
Self-awareness of each team member
A team only works effectively when the members have a sense of self-discipline and responsibility for the assigned work. Not only are you responsible for your own work, but you also need to be responsible for the overall work of the team. Team work needs to coordinate members to achieve the highest work efficiency and on schedule.
