The end-of-year pieces create a strong community

As time gently approaches the final days of the year, the PennSchool campus seems warmer than ever, filled with laughter, sharing, and a strong spirit of connection spreading throughout the student community. In the cool winter breeze, students came together to immerse themselves in the lively activities of the Christmas Festival and eagerly kicked off the Penn Project Runway (Season 2), a series of events that beautifully closed the year with creativity, love, and connection.

A warm Christmas season filled with love

Christmas at PennSchool was not just a festive celebration, but also a special occasion for #HomeOfTheEagles to slow down, gather together, and fully embrace the warmth of love and the spirit of sharing through meaningful activities. Through culturally rich experiential programs, students had the opportunity to explore Christmas traditions from countries around the world while creating unforgettable memories with teachers, friends, and loved ones.

Launching the Christmas Festival under the theme “The Penn Express”, teachers and #HomeOfTheEagles transformed familiar classroom doors into “magical gateways”, filled with the spirit of Christmas and each student’s unique creative touch. Every decorative detail not only showcased aesthetic sensibility but also reflected close collaboration and strong class unity. The festive atmosphere became even warmer as the PennSchool community joined hands to donate warm clothes, scarves, and essential items to children in need in the Central Highlands through the Warm Winter Drive campaign. In addition, the community gathered to enjoy delightful cultural performances and to participate in the Christmas Charity Auction “The Golden Giving Gala”, featuring handmade products and artworks created by the students. These activities became emotional touchpoints, connecting the hearts of the entire PennSchool community through compassion. All proceeds, with 135,060,000 VND, from the Christmas activities were donated to the Community Fund “Light Up the Future” to implement the main project “Tay Bac: One Brick – A Million Dreams”, helping spread love to highland communities.

Beyond activities that spread kindness, #HomeOfTheEagles also had the chance to unleash their creativity through unique cake-decorating sessions and to bond with friends via a variety of fun festival games such as snowball toss, pin the nose on Rudolph, candy cane fishing, and holiday cup tower. Each experience not only encouraged creativity but also allowed students to truly feel the joy and sharing spirit of the festive season.

Continuing the warmth of the holidays, #HomeOfTheEagles joyfully welcomed the New Year by decorating glass windows around the campus and in the Library under the theme “Connected Spring, Joyful Tet”. From traditional New Year couplets to hand-painted fans bearing each class’s unique mark, these creations served as hopeful New Year greetings, reflecting the strong sense of unity within the PennSchool student community.

The Penn Project Runway stage is ready for talented designers

Following the excitement of Season 1, Penn Project Runway Season 2, themed “Starlit Dreams: Shining On the Runway”, was officially launched on December 23, 2025, opening an inspiring fashion design playground for students passionate about the arts.

At the Kick-off Session, #HomeOfTheEagles were provided with sketching tools and carefully briefed by teachers on the competition rules, brackets, design themes, and key milestones. From that moment, the journey of the future fashion designers officially began. This is a valuable opportunity for #HomeOfTheEagles to bring their ideas from sketches to real-life products, while enhancing design thinking and confidently presenting ideas to a panel of highly professional Judges. At the same time, students develop teamwork skills, problem-solving abilities, and discover their own potential. In this creative arena, every member plays a vital role in the team’s overall success. Notably, by using recycled materials to design evening wear, students also convey a meaningful message about sustainable fashion.
