Improving students’ knowledge through the Learning Support program
Nội dung bài viết
The Learning Support program at PennSchool is designed for students who need additional assistance in the classroom.
This may be students who cannot achieve their potential due to their inability to fully understand the English language or are struggling with the content in their subjects. The school will offer support services (Peer Tutors, Cross-Age Tutoring, Teacher Tutoring) to help students improve their school performance. The Learning Support team works closely with each family to ensure that students thrive both in and outside of the classroom.
With Teaching Tutoring, students will have a chance to be supported 1-1 if they have some difficulties with applying knowledge. In particular, in the learning online period, the limitation in the interacting process between the teacher and student also increases. Through this program, students who have the problem will study more effectively.
Besides Teacher tutoring, students at PennSchool are also supported through Peer Tutors or Cross-Age Tutoring, which is the process of sharing knowledge together between students in the same or different grade. This program helps students not only avoid their limitation, but also improve their results, review knowledge, promote teamwork skills and increase their responsibility with others.
By participating in this program, students who need support, can improve their results effectively. Excellent students or students in higher grades can support weaker ones easily. This is an opportunity for them to share their experiences and support each other.
Students with the tutor role have a chance to improve their knowledge that they have studied. Besides, this also helps them to be more confident, develop their leadership skills and advance their responsibility with others. Tutor students also improve their communication with people in different ages.
