Education Pathway

International Program

Licensed by the Greenville Area School District, the International Program at Primary and Middle School (K-8) is implemented with the core academic subjects of the English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies which have been adopted from the Common Core State Standards, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), American Education Reaches Out (AERO) Social Studies Standards, and Pennsylvania State Standards.

In addition, students will receive instruction in subjects required by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training for an integrated international program.

Integrated Bilingual Program

The Vietnam – American Integrated Bilingual Program is implemented with the incorporation of the educational program of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the core subjects of the International American Program, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. After Grade 8, students can choose to continue studying the Vietnam – American Integrated Bilingual Program (VAP) with a diploma from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, and participate in English proficiency tests such as IELTS, SAT and so on. Alternatively, students can transfer to the American Diploma Pathway (ADP) to receive a Diploma from Greenville High School (Pennsylvania, USA).

The Penn Standard Program

The Penn Standard Program (PSP) is implemented through the collaboration between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training’s curriculum and the teaching of English through supplementary subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, and Science. Students can choose to study the Penn Standards Program through Grade 12 to receive a diploma from the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and take competency assessments such as IELTS and SAT. In addition, after each level, students can transition to the Vietnam – American Integrated Bilingual Program (VAP) or the American Diploma Pathway (ADP) based on their performance in the entrance exams to receive the Greenville High School Diploma (Pennsylvania, USA).

Learning programs at PennSchool

Licensed by the Greenville Area School District and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, PennSchool offers the International American Program (including the American Diploma Pathway - ADP), the Vietnamese American Integrated Bilingual Program, and the Penn Standard Program for students from Pre to Grade 12.
