Career Counseling – Shaping the Future from the Very First Steps

In mid-October 2024, #HomeOfTheEagles of Grade 12 had the opportunity to meet and interact with representatives from Arizona State University. This event also kicked off the Career Orientation program series, organized by PennSchool in collaboration with ISA – an affiliate of the same parent company – especially designed for senior students.

At the Career Counseling Session with Mr. Miles Campos, Director of Recruitment and Applicant Success at Arizona State University, #HomeOfTheEagles of Grade 12 shared their goals and aspirations for personalized guidance and valuable insights. In addition to learning about the university’s admission policies and scholarships, the students also received in-depth advice on popular majors among international students in the U.S., such as Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Languages, and STEM fields. Moreover, Mr. Miles Campos provided additional insights on the evolving job market and the promising growth of these fields over the next 5 years in the U.S. and specifically in Arizona.

Other topics, such as the university’s rankings, job opportunities after graduation, and the facilities at Arizona State University, sparked interest and active discussions among the #HomeOfTheEagles. Mr. Miles Campos also promptly addressed the students’ questions about student life in the U.S., helping them envision their future university journeys more clearly. Coming to the Career Counseling Session with the Arizona State University representative, the #HomeOfTheEagles can better align their study abroad plans with their academic profiles and future goals.
