PennSchool Kicked Off an Exciting New Academic Year

The start of a new academic year marks the official takeoff of #HomeOfTheEagles’ journey to conquer knowledge and personal growth. This September, #HomeOfTheEagles have quickly applied for positions in the Talent Squads, House Captains, and Student Council, seizing the opportunity to showcase their leadership skills and maximize their potential.

From September 4 to 20, 2024, when the Talent Squads Selection Round officially took place, the #HomeOfTheEagles were eager to refresh their skills and work hard to prepare for their competition. With determination and confidence, the #HomeOfTheEagles showed off their talents and passions across the diverse fields of the Talent Squads they aspired to join. In just 20 minutes, each student left a strong impression on the Board of Judges, showcasing their excellent skills in robotics, singing, painting, musical instruments, soccer, basketball, dancing, and presentation. The impressive performances left the Board of Judges deliberating on the most suitable #HomeOfTheEagles to join the Talent Squads.

Also in September, the core value of the month – Leadership – was highlighted as the #HomeOfTheEagles demonstrated their abilities during the application process for the positions of House Captain and Student Council. Right from the opening of the registration portal, #HomeOfTheEagles quickly submitted their application videos to the School to seize the opportunity to demonstrate their leadership, responsibility, and decision-making abilities. When taking on the positions of House Captain and House Vice Captain, they will lead and participate with other members in various activities throughout the academic year to bring points to their Houses. In addition, the Student Council also plays an important role in accompanying the School in connecting the student community and promoting an open and dynamic learning environment.

Following the Scoring and Voting Rounds, the lineup for the PennSchool House Captain and Student Council is expected to be finalized and officially operational by October 2024. The PennSchool community is closely monitoring and waiting for the final results. Regardless of the outcome, the School is confident that the House Captain and Student Council will fulfill their roles well in the academic year 2024 – 2025.
