PennSchool welcomes the New School Year through Orientation Week

The new academic year 2023 – 2024, with the theme “Eagle Leaders: Soaring with Innovation” has officially started. A journey of pursuing new knowledge has brought the PennSchool community numerous memorable experiences.

The Orientation Week held on August 14th and 19th, 2023, was an opportunity for PennSchool to welcome #HomeOfTheEagles back to school after a summer vacation. The Orientation Day also welcomed Parents’ participation in order to inform them of neccessary information, positive changes in the curriculum, and experiences to warmly welcome the new academic year with pride and anticipation for new remarkable achievements.

The memorable back-to-school day was a chance for #HomeOfTheEagles to return to their second home, meet the new teachers who will accompany them throughout this school year, and reunite with friends after two months of summer vacation. The event was also more meaningful as the School welcomed new students who were now members of PennSchool. Witnessing the radiant smiles of these students as they engaged in interactive activities to introduce themselves, create handmade crafts, and learn about upcoming events, the initial positive energy radiated throughout PennSchool’s community.

In addition to the welcome activities with new homeroom teachers and classmates in the classroom, #HomeOfTheEagles also participated in many exciting experiential activities. One of the thrilling endeavors that attracted #HomeOfTheEagles were sports games, providing an opportunity for students to welcome the year with boundless energy. In addition, these activities fostered teamwork, allowing students to forge new friendships and camaraderie.

Other collaborative activities, such as collective painting, fun scientific experiments, and creative arts using the Canva app, added vibrant hues to the canvas of welcoming the new school year. These creative endeavors not only ignited the students’ passion for learning but also facilitated their abilities in a multi-dimensional way.

This new journey has promised to open exciting learning experiences, engaging interactions, and new challenging competitions that #HomeOfTheEagles will conquer this school year. We hoped that PennSchool’s community would have more memorable moments in the new academic year 2023 – 2024!
