Western Chess, also known as “chess,” is a centuries-old strategic two-player board game played on an 8×8 square board with 64 alternating black and white squares. Each player commands 16 pieces, including a king, queen, bishops, knights, rooks, and pawns, each with unique movements. The game’s main objective is to checkmate the opponent’s king, leading to the game’s end. Chess is not only a pastime but also a recognized sport with a global community of dedicated players.
The Badminton Club offers a thrilling and fast-paced racquet sport played on a rectangular court divided by a net. Players use a shuttlecock to rally over the net, aiming to score points by landing it on the opponent’s side. Badminton requires agility, precision, and strategic gameplay. It is a popular sport enjoyed globally, combining fun and fitness for players of all ages.
Chinese Chess, also known as Xiangqi, is a traditional strategic board game played on a 9×10 square board with intersecting lines. Each player commands 16 pieces, including a general, advisors, elephants, chariots, horses, cannons, and soldiers, each with specific movement patterns. The objective is to checkmate the opponent’s general, leading to victory. Chinese Chess has deep historical roots and cultural significance, and is cherished as a game that stimulates critical thinking and strategic planning.
