Event Sumary
To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, PennSchool students participated in various meaningful activities and sent their love to women around the world.
On March 8th, the students learned about the origin of this special day through the workshop with the theme “We are doing it. In addition, students also find out the importance of women in modern society and understand the value of gender equity. Since then, students raised awareness to reduce gender inequality in society.
International Women’s Day is also an occasion for us to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the women around us with our most sincere thanks. The students had the opportunity to express their sincere gratitude to their grandmothers, mothers, and teachers, whom they loved, through creative activities such as making unique greeting cards and handmade clay flowers. Although the words may be a bit naive, the handwriting conveys the students’ affection for the women they cherish.
Not only on this special day but also on the remaining 354 days of the year, let’s always show love to the women around us!
