ONLINE-LEARNING PLATFORMS IN THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR
Nội dung bài viết
In the school year 2021 – 2022, PennSchool will continue to apply online learning methods due to the effect of the pandemic. The school has implemented online learning through two platforms: Schoology and Class Dojo.
Schoology is a learning management system that simplifies the teaching and learning process. By connecting parents, students and the school through Schoology, all of the learning tools are available all of the time. The goal is to be able to deliver the “anytime, anywhere, and on any device” experience for students who are learning online.
One of the strengths of Schoology is its focus on communication and collaboration. Students can easily collaborate with each other, their teachers, and the school as a whole. In addition, students can share ideas and learning resources together.
Class Dojo, a classroom communication tool, has also been implemented which aims to provide an online exchange platform between parents and the school. Through Class Dojo, parents can update information about their students, their classes, the learning process, and any class activities.
Schoology and Class Dojo provide basic functions such as student management, learning materials, course dashboard, upcoming events, submitting and grading assignments. This supports the delivery of all learning points in the most efficient way. Students can also be proactive in learning with the sharing of materials on these applications. Furthermore, parents can closely follow the learning process, student grades and student attendance through both of these online platforms.
Although the pandemic is still causing many difficulties and challenges, we continue to create great opportunities for students along their journey of finding knowledge. Through the continuing efforts of parents, the WASS/PennSchool Community, and our wonderful students – we will overcome any challenges together.
