The first memorable field trip in the 2022-2023 academic year took place this September in which all grades participated.
#HomeOfTheEagles Grade Pre-1 had a trip to Dragon Farm. Through the picnic, the “little farmers” together experienced work at farms such as digging potatoes, planting rice, catching fish and ducks… These experiences helped them understand more about the difficulties of farmers in the countryside of Vietnam. In addition, these helped them understand more about farmers’ hardships to make their daily food.
Unlike the Pre-1 students, #HomeOfTheEagles Grade 2-5 had a memorable 2 days 1 night trip at the Mango Garden resort. There were many exciting activities such as exploring the wild animals at the zoo, participating in the project “Solar energy”, experiencing outdoor games, enjoying campfire nights, experiencing games in the playground and watching the bird show. All have created a joyful atmosphere, giving them opportunities to connect, learn to share and collaborate with each other.
The last trip of #HomeOfTheEagles Grade 6-12 to Vung Tau will be 3 days 2 nights which will have many memorable activities. With the theme “Dream Wings”, #HomeOfTheEagles will participate in a series of experiences with challenging team building, Camp fire “Bring fire to heart”, exploring Minera Hot Spring, Tropicana Theme Park and one Gala Dinner… These experiences will help students build solidarity, practice independence, and get soft skills through many activities. Since then, they know how to make their own plans and live responsibly.
Through field trips, PennSchool not only aims to an entertainment trip, but this is an opportunity for #HomeOfTheEagles to experience the “Classroom without walls”, to learn knowledge by themselves. These experiences will be the foundation to help them be more active in the process of discovering knowledge, thereby developing research skills as well as achieving independence in learning. These are also the core values that PennSchool has oriented and is pursuing.
